Father Gilbert remembers his days as a cop before he became a priest.

I've been wanting to try drawing Father Gilbert again for some time, and when I was organizing my drawer of drawings I came across the original sketch i used for this painting here goodoldbaz.deviantart.com/art/… and I thought to myself, that would be perfect of Father Gilbert. He's a tiny bit too young, I think, and his hair a tad to light, but I didn't want to mess up the drawing by trying to give him wrinkles and I didn't notice his hair was too light until I'd already scanned it and my sister is working on the computer that is connected to the scanner now. Oh well.

Father Gilbert is the main character from Focus on the Family's Radio Theatre original miniseries, the Father Gilbert Mysteries, which tells of the spiritual mysteries encountered by Louis Gilbert, a cop-turned-Anglican-priest, who lives in Stonebridge, Sussex, and ministers to the people of the town from St. Mark's Church. Nine episodes have been produced in four volumes.
